Pawsitively Pets practices modern, dog friendly training methods based on the latest findings in learning
theory and behavioral science. All methods are force free and fun for pet and owner alike!  We continue to
study and train ourselves, and take seminars around the country from top trainers and behaviorists to keep
up on the latest techniques.

We specialize in training the companion dog; your pet and beloved family member.  Our goal is to develop
great communication between dog and owner for a happy and harmonious household.
Dog Friendly Training strengthens the bond between you. Your dog will begin to view you as his main
source of fun and all good things in life. Trust and respect yield higher results in training than fear, which
will inhibit your dogs performance and can cause negative side effects brought on by fear and stress such
as aggression and timidity. We believe your dog should be an eager participant in the training process.  Our
training methods are designed to never put your relationship with your pet in jeopardy, and to keep tails
wagging!

It's POSITIVE, it's not PERMISSIVE! Positive reinforcement training does not mean wrong behaviors are
tolerated. Quite the contrary! Instead we guide and teach your dog what you want, thereby minimizing the
need for correction. Simply put, we use our brain instead of pain.
Our Positive Training methods work for any dog, from the young to the old, or aggressive/reactive to the
most docile. We tailor our methods to work for you.

*puppy paws* Get your pup out on the right paw! Puppy Paws is designed to stop bad behaviors
before they start, and provide a foundation for a friendly well adjusted dog. Lessons include
housebreaking, nipping, chewing, socialization and basic control behaviors.

*Basic O*  Training for pets 6 mos. and up. Includes loose leash walking, sit, down and stays, leave
it, drop it, Come, go to your bed, and common problems.

*Good Citizen*  Expanding on Basic O, this class will strengthen the basics in real life situations and
work on personal stumbling blocks

*Behavior Modification*  help is on the way for dogs who have picked up bad habits or exhibit
undesirable behaviors  such as separation anxiety, fear and phobias, aggression and reactivity

clicker training!- clicker training is a super fun and fast way of teaching tricks,  new behaviors and
extinguishing bad behaviors. It can be taught and used with any class we offer, or not! It is entirely
up to you.
