Dog training Miami Fort Lauderdale About Us

Lisa-jj-saffron-200Lisa Hartman – I have been an animal lover my whole life I have always been drawn to them and they to me. I have always had Dalmatians, and I took care of my relatives Rottweilers and Akitas. Dogs were my best friends growing up, and still are today. I consider all of my four legged clients extended family. Unfortunately many of the dogs I work with come from horrible beginnings and have to be taught to live and except a human world. I continue to study humane techniques and methods to help each individual dog reach their personal best. I believe each one is special and unique and should be revered for who they are, and for how far they have come. I wish you the same relationship with your dogs that I share with mine.

JJ-200Jay-J - My Chief Operating Officer. I saw then 1½ year old Jay Jay on www.petfinder.com.  He had been at an animal control for 8 months, and previously was at a pet store supplied by a puppy mill. He suffered from chronic mange and hair loss on his back. He was finally brought to me when it was time for them to “make room.” I soon saw why Jay Jay was returned within days by the different people who adopted him: He was highly reactive, aggressive, and wild. He was completely unsocialized and had no trust or care for humans. In fact, he had moved at least twelve times before coming to me. With behavior work and training, stability and love, he is now a different dog. In fact, he is my right hand man and assistant when working with reactive dogs or socializing puppies. He is also a part time model.  But most importantly, he is my best friend.

Saffron-200Saffron Monsoon - What can I say about this little tornado? She is my snuggly wild child. My first small dog too.  Saffy was rescued from a “home” with too many dogs. She was left crated most of her puppyhood and with her high energy level became a “spinner”. She had to scrounge and fight for food when someone would remember to feed them.  She too, had moves numerous times. She is smart, quirky, serious, and sensitive. I named her after a character on the TV show Absolutely Fabulous. She is just that. Most funny about her is the way she enters a room; she slides in like Kramer on Seinfeld! In her spare time Saffy enjoys trick training, sunbathing, and wrestling with Jay Jay.
